How I use autoscheduling apps to work my business for me
If you haven't, or are not currently using them, I will post the links at the end of this post so you can download them.
These apps are changing the way we work our businesses. Seriously!!! Many of us work full time right now and can not be on our social media accounts all day long! Completely understandable, even as a previous stay at home mom, its impossible to be on social media all day every day! So some super smart person created these apps for us to use!
I used to have buffer then forgot my log in information when my so loving now one year old deleted the app.... So now I have hootsuite! I can copy and paste posts, photos, links, and hash tags to the app on my smart phone (seriously thanks facebook for adding the copy feature!!!) then have the option to instantly post across all of my social media accounts or schedule the post. I love the freedom of this app!
OK so its pretty simple, schedule as many posts that you want, to post WHEN you want or you can choose auto schedule (my favorite feature) then it does all of the hard work for you. I mean its like a person social media assistant! Who wouldn't LOVE that????
You can have 3 social media accounts on the free version of hootsuite! I chose my personal fb page, my business page on facebook (the one you like) and instagram. I've also had my twitter linked to it but since I use instagram more and have no clue what im doing on twitter, I switched!
I suggest sitting for an hour or so, copying and pasting any testimonies you see, any really awesome posts you see, motivational photos, the link to your website, a daily family post, etc on your account so you can be set for a week. I believe that life can and will get in the at some point this year and as long as you schedule posts your business will remain active, meaning your friends/family/potenitals will see your posts and think that you are working your business non stop.
Here are the links to sign up www.buffer.com and www.hootsuite.com also they are smart phone apps which is what i use the most!
Hope this helps your business so you can be the multitasking amazing person you are!

NEW YEAR, NEW YOU?
How about new year, new focus?
New year, new commitment?
New year, new outlook?
Any of these would work. Don't change YOU because you are absolutely amazing! Sometimes, we just need a new beginning, A new starting point. Many people choose TODAY to make that happen. Something about January 1st makes people see how crummy their last year was and how they need to change something.
I am starting today by saying last year I failed. I am admitting my faults and saying I do not want to repeat my mistakes again this year, as i am sure most of you agree with. So today I am starting a schedule of blog posts to encourage you, to make sure you do not fall down the same hole you did in 2015.
It is all apart of my commitment to changing my life for good. This year we have a lot of changes going on. Planning a wedding, losing weight, growing my business, raising a one year old and a 7 year old, we have a competition cheerleader too(can you say goodbye Monday nights?). I mean just those things alone are enough to drive someone crazy, now to add running a business, a blog, and working full time to the mix, I might actually go crazy at some point this year, but I promise, this is going to be the best year yet!
Today, RIGHT NOW, log in to your back office. Message back that person that has been on your mind about needing a boost in the health area. Or call that person you know needs a way to make some extra cash. Go shake up your Slim and drink it. Today is the day to start over. Today is the get we get off our butts and chase our dreams. Today is the day to be the best leader you can be! Don't have team yet? THAT DOES NOT MATTER ONE BIT! Practice makes perfect.

5 advantages of a home based business
5 Tax Advantages of a Home-Based Business
The perks of a home-based business are many: freedom, independence, tax advantages ... yes, tax advantages. Here are some tax advantages that your home based business may qualify for.
1. Home Office
The home office is one of the best-known tax advantages for a home based business, and for good reason. You can deduct a percentage of most household bills (mortgage or rent, utilities, property taxes, insurance, phone and Internet bills) based on the percentage of your house that is represented by your home office.
It's important to accurately calculate the square footage of your home office, and if possible, to devote a separate room to your home office. IRS publication 334, Tax Guide for Small Business, is helpful in determining details on home office deductions.
2. Office Expenses
Any improvements or repairs to your home office are deductible as business expenses. For instance, if you paint your home office, the costs are deductible. However, these improvements must be related to the office itself. Landscaping expenses, for example, are not deductible, even if they are for landscaping outside of the home office.
3. Business Expenses
Many home based business expenses are tax deductible. A partial list includes:
4. Other Expenses
All the items you need for your business - beads for your jewelry business, fabric for your dressmaking business, a computer for your tutoring business - are deductible as business expenses. Depending on your type of business, these can add up quickly.
5. Family Employees
Hire your responsible teenage son to keep inventory for your business, or your teenage daughter to walk dogs for your dog-sitting business. This results in an additional business expense deduction for you, as well as income for your child. Be sure to document all the hours worked by family members (or any employee you hire) in case you are ever audited.
Many home based businesses use IRS Schedule C to report income and expenses. All of the expenses listed above will be subtracted from your business income, most likely lowering your taxable income significantly (which is good, since your net income is what you will be taxed on).
*A key for home businesses is accurate record keeping. You want to be prepared to turn over a neat log of all business expenses, complete with dates, amounts and confirming documents when appropriate, in case of an audit.
With your records in hand, your home business will be in good shape to reap maximum benefit from our tax system. Use the rules to your advantage to ensure as much profit as possible for your home based business.
From Kathy, my Tax Lady and Ambassador:
You need to track mileage for anything you did with the business, including driving to training, meetings, meeting a customer or ambassador for any reason, shopping for things for your business. Your mileage should be written down in a journal/calendar/notebook. Make a quick note in the calendar in your phone where you went and why. There are actually apps available to track your mileage.
Keep all receipts for your meals, any supplies, business cards, copies/printing, ink cartridges, meeting refreshments, booth rental fees, electronics used for business like computer/tablet, etc, product that you did not personally use like Decision Packs or Fast Relief Lotion you carry with you.
Calculate the square footage of the living quarters of the house and the square footage of your working area.
Calculate and get copies of total utilities gas & electricity, house taxes, insurance, phone bill, all amounts from time you started your business.
If you use you debit card you can highlight income and expenses.
